I hope this is the last request I ever have to send to all the supporter's of Grace's Law!

 

On December 15th the full Assembly is meeting for the last time in 2008.   It would be extremely beneficial if you could reach out to your own personal Assemblypersons and explain that:

1) Grace's Law bill #S467 cleared the Senate on 11/24 and is up for a vote in the Assembly House along with it's sister bill A1571.

2) Explain how important this legislation is to your family and

3) Ask if they could contact the Speaker of the House, Assemblyman Roberts, to post the bills on December 15th.  and

4) Of course, you hope they will vote YES when it is posted.

 

This is a rare opportunity where you can request something as a constituent that is important to you.  Legislators are more apt to do for consituents then other NJ residents because they want your vote next November!  More importantly, the Speaker of the House is more likely to post the bill for a vote if requests come from fellow legislators!

It would be greatly appreciated if you could do this, this week as typically the Speaker needs to have his list of bills posted 5 days before the meeting.

I'll let you know if it gets posted on 12/15! Keep your fingers crossed.  If it does not get posted in December the good news is we still have all of next year to convince the Speaker to post it!
